Who can trade?

Due to regulations, leverage trading on Moonshot isn't available everywhere and is subject to eligibility requirements and restrictions. We follow the rules, which means our platform is only open to traders outside of Canada, UK, US and certain other restricted regions. We do not allow activity in these countries, and are not subject to regulation or examination by these authorities.

Using VPNs to bypass geo-restrictions violates our Terms, so keep it real!

On the move?

Traveling to an Ineligible Region

If you travel to a region where our leverage trading isn't available:

• Your account switches to spectator mode 👀

  • You can watch your trades, but you can’t manage or adjust them

  • Open positions remain active, meaning they could still move against you

Think of it like your account’s gone off to St. Barts for a little R&R—you can sip the view, but you can’t jump in the pool. While your positions remain open, they’re still subject to market swings and possible liquidation. Since you won’t be able to take action until you’re back in an eligible region, it’s important to understand the potential risks of being locked out while markets keep moving.
